- Aw, Ash is so insecure.

Don't ask me how Skyler knew about her lack of money. Let's say he could just tell.

And the reason that "Sky" is emphasized in that first panel is because she's trying to use that to get at him, like how she's annoyed by being called Ash.

Why do all the things in this school have labels on them? Labels that change apparently? Do little Gremlins run around with spray paint? Maybe it's the Minish?

The school is so rich that all inanimate objects have souls, but can only convey their words with the written language.

Nah, it's really just me being silly and making sure the reader knows what everything is. The labeling stops in the next chapter, but if I ever think that I'm so horrible at backgrounds that what I'm drawing needs to be spelled out, then you'll see something labeled like this.

No, I'm pretty sure it's Gremlins. And I think calling the Gremlin Exterminators for the next chapter on would be not as cool as letting them stay. By that I mean, keep doing it, it's hilarious.

Oh, okay. The school needed to do some budget cuts anyway, and getting the gremlin exterminators is more expensive than keeping a teacher.
